Dear Members, Athletes, Coaches, Officials, Volunteers, Parents, Partners, and Kite Flying Enthusiasts,

It gives me immense pride and honour to welcome you to the National Youth Kite Flying Federation of India (NYKFFI).
Kite flying is deeply connected with India's culture, traditions, festivals, creativity, and community life. A kite rising into the sky represents something universal—the freedom to dream, the courage to compete, and the determination to rise higher.

At NYKFFI, our purpose is to carry this heritage forward and give kite flying a new sporting identity. We envision a future in which kite flying is developed as a safe, organized, inclusive, competitive, and professionally managed sport, providing opportunities for young people across India to discover their talent and pursue excellence.

OUR VISION FOR KITE SPORTS

India has a rich and diverse kite-flying culture, along with a vast pool of talented and enthusiastic young people. NYKFFI aims to connect this tradition with modern sports development.

Our focus is on creating opportunities through:

• Technical education and officiating
• Training and certification programmes

We want every aspiring kite flyer to have the opportunity to learn, participate, compete and progress, irrespective of their region, background, gender or level of experience.

SAFETY FIRST

The growth of kite sports must always go hand in hand with responsibility.
NYKFFI is committed to promoting safe and responsible kite flying and creating greater public awareness about the risks associated with hazardous kite-flying materials.
We support the use of appropriate, safe and environmentally responsible materials, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We also encourage practices that help protect people, birds, animals and the environment.
For us, winning a competition can never be more important than protecting life and respecting nature.

Kite sports are not only about flying a kite. They involve concentration, coordination, strategy, timing, patience, skill, discipline and mental strength.
Through organized sporting activities, we aim to develop these qualities among young participants while promoting:

It is my great honour to serve as the National Treasurer of the National Youth Kite Flying Federation of India (NYKFFI).
Our federation is committed to promoting kite flying as a sport, cultural tradition, and platform for youth development. As National Treasurer, my responsibility is to support the federation in maintaining financial discipline, transparency, accountability, and responsible utilization of resources.
We believe that strong financial management is essential for conducting quality competitions, training programmes, athlete development activities, safety campaigns, and community initiatives across India.
I encourage all members and stakeholders to work together with honesty, discipline, and dedication to build a stronger and more professionally managed federation.

It is a great honour to serve as the National Joint Secretary of the National Youth Kite Flying Federation of India (NYKFFI).
Kite flying is not only a cherished tradition of India but also a wonderful activity that develops skill, concentration, coordination, creativity, discipline, and team spirit among young people. Our aim is to provide a strong and organized platform where athletes and enthusiasts can participate in kite flying as a safe, disciplined, and competitive sporting activity.
As National Joint Secretary, I am committed to supporting the federation's programmes, strengthening coordination among our members and associations, and encouraging greater participation of youth, children, women, and communities in kite flying.
I appeal to every member to follow safety guidelines, respect the environment, promote responsible kite flying, and uphold the values of sportsmanship, unity, fairness, and discipline.
